When my brother was younger he went to Broadmeadows Primary School just up the road from our house. In 1989 he was in Grade 5 and I used to go and visit him and sit with him in class.

My parents had been involved in the school as most parents do.

The following year I was enrolled and spent my whole childhood there.

Through the years my parents got more involved with my mum finally being employed as a secretary and helping start up the Before and After School Care Program and the Preschool Program.

A couple of years ago my father employed as a cleaner a few years ago and spent most of his time up there.

A few months ago the school moved around the corner to the site of Broadmeadows Secondary College. And as everything closes, vandals move in and destroy the place.

I decided to head up tonight and have a look...and I'm heartbroken. The place I grew up, some of my earliest memories have all been turned to this.

So I’ve been babysitting this kid for a while and I didn’t know his name, so I’ve started calling him Kenshiro. I’m like, “whatever Kenshiro.” LOL It’s nowhere close to what his actually name is, I mostly play this him as he has high energy and my mom does all the feeding, washroom stuff. We took him outside... Apparently for the first time, so it was his first time seeing shit outside and I’m trying to create the connection between things. He’s like, two years old. His last babysitter would just leave him alone for hours and not change his diaper, so we’re trying to socialize him.

So basically, I, the most anti-social person ever am socializing a two year old. I’m basically being a hard-ass disciplinarian... It’s working. This is the second kid I’ve socialized, LOL.

I’m off school, the last day we went out for lunch with our classmates. I ate a whole 14.99 plate of nachos. They said it couldn’t be done. I said, “I’m still hungry.”


Anywho, THE TO DO LIST WILL NEVER DIE!!
